The Road

And this is that story –

of how I walked forever

and arrived at an ocean,

sat on the sand my life through

because I thought the road there

would be a road.

    1. A bit, I suppose. I have a poster in my room of a sailboat that says “Take the road less traveled”. I just love the idea that we might be thinking of roads the wrong way 😉

  1. Wow. This is so on target for my process right now. I was just asking the other day “Is this the right place or simply another place that reminds me of the right place.” Keep writing. 🙂

PS I was asked about a response poem I wrote to one of your poems during an interview I did last week. She linked to my poem and that post has a link to yours.
