Love Moved In

What happened to me, you ask,

what happened to me?

You, amongst other things.

Love moved in.

Told it to get the hell

out of my house.

It laughed,

pulled up a chair,

and we’ve been drinking

together ever since.

    1. Hey JCC, You hang out at all the best blogs. I made ratatouille. How ’bout I toast up some thin-sliced bread real crisp, till it’s a bit black at the edges? We’ll hang out and toss fresh poems like a green salad then we’ll laugh and clap among ourselves. The best of times. πŸ™‚

  1. Oh. You brought tears to my eyes this morning with this one. Thank you, thank you. I’m honored that you would find inspiration from any of the words that come from my fingertips via that chest wound I have.. Yes to love. Always yes to love. πŸ™‚

  2. This is durn good! I’ve noticed neither love nor hope ever listen to what I say. What’s with that? Oh, and on this particular day, be careful about letting either get resurrected! Mind if I saunter over with some pesto pizza?

Thoughts? I love those.
