Folding. Smoothing out the edges.

Ideas aren’t so easily collapsible.

People don’t have perfect symmetry.

The world doesn’t cave in

when you tug at the right corner.

Someone teach me to be content

with a pigeon at the park.

Someone take this tissue paper away

before I make one more

paper bird.
