And still, all around me, people go on, living. Thought provoking piece, I always cringe a little reading statistics about death, it’s humbling to know how many journeys come to an end in each moment. I consider the fact that others are just beginning to be the balance to that. Wonderfully written, thank you for this.
I read somewhere long ago that 3 babies are born each second. Or was that 1 baby every three seconds? I wonder how many human eggs get fertilized in 24 hours?
Interesting piece.
Are you admitting culpability? 😉
Thank you! That’s an interesting way to interpret!
Maybe… 😉
I apparently look at things differently to most. Lol
Oooo! You’ve just given me an idea!
FANKS!
Hooray! 😀 I love when that happens!
Run with it!
I did! FANKS!!
Don’t fear the reaper.
Never! 😉

“And still, all around me, people go on, living.” That was just the perfect response line.
You gave me hope with this comment. Out with the old, in with the new. Life gives way to life. Not always a bad thing.
Thank you so much 🙂
Yes.

These are important questions 🙂 Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish between the newly arrived and recently departed.
And it took me 72 hours and 462,240 deaths to get around to commenting on this one. Dang!!!! What does that make Me?!?!?
They’re all just numbers in the end
and they all just keep getting bigger
and bigger…
“All just numbers in the end.”
Yep, I think you hit it on the head. No wonder numbers have no limit – we’re going to need all the space of infinity to lay out these bodies.
